An interpretation of the sandman lore. This is an interpretation of a sandman who sneaks into rooms and puts people to sleep because of a fear of people. It is stored in a handmade clam shell box. Story is typeset in Bariol.
This zine is a collection of photographs, poems and drawings I made. Each photograph is matched up with a a poem relating to a thing, place or time in nature.
A single serve apple package. This package lets you take the apple anywhere. Once you open it the package unfolds to make a placemat that allows you to have a clean space to set your apple on while you eat it.
This package holds one single serve hard boiled egg. The hexagonal shape holds the egg really well. Each panel holds different information about the egg. There is a chicken wire pattern that goes across the package as well as showing the the chicken and roster illustration. The bottom of the package has a vector of an egg with the barcode as the yolk.
Two different books exploring Optima and Palatino. Each page shows the font in a different way as well as using a different weight. I used the punctuation as a pattern for the front and back covers.
This book contains different stories from people experiencing nature. Each story is unique and paired with a photo that I felt captured the feel of the story. The spreads are broken up with different bars of color that help with how the story should be read. The stories are divided by a large full spread photo that help lead into the next story.
Infographic about different dairy goats and the benefits that the milk provides. This poster has the three main dairy goats that we use in Utah which are the Alpine, Nubian and LaMancha. The illustrations of the goats have information about the goat breed underneath them. Inside of the different milk drops it contains information about how goat milk is used as well as general health information.
A collection of 16 posters made over 16 days. Each one represents the day that it was made. I wanted to use things that I saw or experienced during the day to inspire the poster. It was really interesting to try and use something from that day and try and work it into the poster design.
